An Indian couple and their six-year-old child have been tragically found dead in their home in Maryland, USA. The authorities suspect a case of double-suicide murder. The victims, Yogesh H Nagarajappa (37), Prathiba Y Amarnath (37), and Yash Honnal (6), who were originally from Karnataka, were discovered with gunshot wounds when police responded to a welfare check on Friday. According to Baltimore County Police spokesperson Anthony Shelton, they believe Nagarajappa committed the crime. Based on the initial investigation, the incident is believed to be a double murder-suicide, Shelton stated. The bodies were last seen alive on Tuesday evening, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death. Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski expressed his condolences, stating, I am heartbroken and deeply saddened for the innocent victims whose lives were cut short by this horrific act. We will do everything possible to assist family and community members following this tragic incident. Olszewski assured the public that there is no threat to the surrounding communities. The family had been living in Baltimore, Maryland for the past nine years. Yogesh’s mother, Shobha, revealed that they are from Hallekallu village in Jagalur Taluk of Davangere district. Shobha expressed her anguish and appealed to the Indian government to bring the bodies back to their homeland. It’s been three days since the incident happened. We have not seen the body. Help us get the bodies. We have not seen the photos either, she pleaded. Shobha also mentioned that Yogesh had recently called her, assuring her that everything was fine. She did not notice any signs of trouble during their conversation. The family’s relatives are desperately seeking answers, unsure of what transpired or who was responsible. They are anxiously waiting for more information to understand the circumstances surrounding the tragic deaths.
