The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a massive public rally as part of its month-long Nav programme in Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir. The event was chaired by Ashok Koul, the BJP general secretary (Organization), who lashed out at previous governments, urging people to give a chance to BJP and see the transformation in governance, transparency and development in the region. Koul said the previous MLAs and MPs exploited the people to seek their voters and served their own interests rather than the people’s. BJP MP Rajya Sabha, Gulam Ali, said the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has initiated an integrated plan to bring back peace, improve infrastructure, connectivity, and roads in J&K. Sundil Sharma, BJP general secretary J&K also highlighted the achievements of the government and said Narendra Modi transformed the entire J&K. The good governance model of Modi encompasses the empowerment of citizens, faster connectivity, more jobs, better education, and an improved quality of life.
