India is planning to challenge the European Union (EU) over its proposal to impose tariffs on high-carbon imports, including steel, cement, and iron ore. The tariffs are part of the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) which aims to encourage local industries to develop technologies that reduce carbon emissions.
