Bharat charts its course to reclaim nation’s glory as ‘Vishwaguru’: Vice President | Education

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has expressed his belief that Bharat (India) is on a trajectory to regain its position as the world leader, known as ‘Vishwaguru’. Speaking at the platinum jubilee celebration of XLRI in Jamshedpur, he stated that India is poised to become the third-largest economy globally by the end of the decade.

Highlighting the transformative era driven by cutting-edge technologies, Dhankhar emphasized the potential of advancements such as Artificial Intelligence, internet of things, machine learning, quantum computing, 6G technology, and green hydrogen. These innovations have the power to redefine industries, reshape solutions, and revolutionize the way we live and work.

Acknowledging India’s global recognition across different domains, Dhankhar stressed the significant role of young leaders in creating a sustainable ecosystem that upholds democratic values and the country’s age-old civilization ethos. He also mentioned Singapore’s adoption of India’s efficient digital payment system as a testament to the country’s accomplishments in digital inclusion. The World Bank recently commended India’s progress in this area, asserting that the country achieved what would typically take 47 years in just six years.

Addressing the students, the Vice President underscored the importance of passion and resilience in measuring success, rather than focusing solely on grades and academic pressure. He encouraged students to adopt a stress-free mindset that nurtures creativity, innovation, and holistic development. Dhankhar urged the young generation to aspire to be the change-makers as India marches towards 2047.

During the event, the Vice President extended an invitation to the students and faculty of XLRI to visit Parliament for a firsthand experience of the legislative process. Additionally, he revealed that the Indian Council of World Affairs will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Xavier School of Management before January 31 next year, enabling interactions between the institute and global leaders from various fields.

Congratulating XLRI on completing 75 years of excellence and nation-building, Dhankhar commended the institute for producing leaders who not only drive economic progress but also uphold the ethical values crucial to society’s needs.

As Bharat sets its sights on reclaiming its global glory, the country’s emergence as a world leader is projected to leave a lasting impact. With a focus on technological advancements, innovative strategies, and nurturing young talent, India aims to regain its rightful place on the world stage.
