Noteworthy bowling performances include Harbhajan Singh’s five five-wicket hauls for India against the West Indies in the all-time records, while R Ashwin has achieved this feat four times in current stats. Malcolm Marshall holds the record for the West Indies with six five-wicket hauls against India in the all-time records, and Jason Holder leads the current players with two five-wicket hauls.

As for the best bowling innings, Kapil Dev’s remarkable figures of 9 for 83 in Ahmedabad in 1983 top the list for India against the West Indies in the all-time records. R Ashwin’s outstanding performance of 7 for 83 in North Sound in 2016 holds the record for the current players. In the West Indies’ all-time records, Jack Noreiga’s 9 for 95 in Port of Spain in 1971 remains the best bowling innings against India, while Jason Holder’s 5 for 56 in Hyderabad in 2018 is the best by a current West Indies player.
