Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that India and Nepal are taking their bilateral ties to “Himalayan heights” and will also resolve their border issue, following talks with Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda. The heads of state also announced various initiatives including the inaugural run of an Indian railway cargo train from Bathnaha in India to the Nepal Customs Yard, as well as inaugurating Integrated Customs Posts in Rupaidiha in India and in Nepalgunj in Nepal. During his speech, Modi said that the two countries looked to resolve all outstanding issues. In particular, the new railway line will aid cargo transportation of entrepreneurs and industrialists in the Koshi Province.
