All India Radio (AIR) is set to launch a new series on integrated organic farming in Mysore, Karnataka. The series will be inaugurated tomorrow at the District Agriculture Training Centre (DATC) in Naganahalli, and will be jointly organized by the University of Agricultural Sciences-Bengaluru, Akashvani Mysuru, the Agriculture Department of Mysuru, and various other agricultural research stations and cooperative farmer associations.
The inauguration will be presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.V. Suresha of the University of Agricultural Sciences-Bengaluru, with the participation of several distinguished guests including Assistant Director S.S. Umesh of Akashvani Mysuru, Dr. N. Shivakumar of VC Farm, Dr. B.S. Chandrashekar of the City Agriculture Department, Dr. Nagaraju of the City Horticulture Department, and P. Ramesh, an organic farmer associated with the Federation of Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar Districts Regional Co-operative Organic Farmers Association.
