Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Chairman of the Indore Development Authority (IDA), Jaypal Singh Chawda, conducted an inspection of the under-construction Luvkush Square flyover on Friday. The flyover, parallel to the MR-10 road, aims to connect the Super Corridor with MR 10, running parallel to the metro.
During the inspection, Chawda highlighted the significance of the flyover, stating that it will play a crucial role in connecting MR-10 with the Super Corridor, ultimately resulting in smoother traffic flow. The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 56.68 crore.
In terms of dimensions, the right side of the flyover will measure 642.10 meters, while the left side will span 698.30 meters. As of now, three pillars have been constructed along with 60 pile castings and 11 pile cape casts. Additionally, out of the 358 trees originally affected by the construction, 201 have been successfully transplanted.
Chawda also took the opportunity to review the progress of another bridge being built alongside the Ujjain road. This bridge, estimated to cost around Rs 150 crore, will greatly facilitate travel to Ujjain, especially during the upcoming Simhastha festival.
