IBC Media, in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and Digital India, successfully completed an on-ground blockchain and Web3 education boot camp at IIT Delhi. The 8-day program offered student developers valuable education, training, ideation, and intense guided building sessions in emerging technologies. The boot camp aims to upskill students and make them industry-ready, building India’s largest talent community in emerging technologies, innovation, and investments.

IBC Media’s strategic partnerships with MeitY and Digital India have committed to taking the innovation program to 8000 colleges/universities in India. The initiative is expected to drive future innovation by preparing young minds in artificial intelligence, Web 3, and blockchain technologies. Leading web 3.0 industry giants, including the Polkadot ecosystem, have joined forces to build and recruit talent in India.

Polkadot ecosystem, which has 74 parachains, over 550 projects, and 300 decentralized applications, has partnered with IBC Media for the past three successful programs, creating outreach to over 30,000 students. As sponsors, they have been active participants in IBC Media’s program.

The final day of the boot camp saw the recognition of three winning teams, receiving certificates of appreciation, financial grants of up to Rs. 40,000 per team, and internships from IBC Media. The organization announced 700 grants and 450 internships as a commitment to developing talent. IBC’s ecosystem of over 19,000 web companies will tap into the rich talent pool of Web 3 developers to bridge the skills gap and create job opportunities.

The boot camp was highly attended, with VIPs including Prof P K Jain, Director of IIT BHU, and Prof Sunil Jha, Director of Foundation for Smart Manufacturing at IIT Delhi. IBC Media announced expansion plans with UAEBrazil to create a cross-cultural community of tech enthusiasts worldwide. Additionally, they launched WIN by IBC Media, women in emerging technologies, which aims to build a community of one million women in the technology space.

IBC Media’s management team, Abhishek Pitti (Founder CEO), Parth Pitti (Head – Developer Relations), and Praveen Thakur (COO), will drive innovation through partnerships, associations, and an expanding global footprint in building the largest community in emerging technologies.

Digital India Alt Hacks is the starting point of IBC Media’s Internship Program, continuing with the IBC Continuous Education Program, where students deep-dive into Web 3.0 technologies through online sessions held by experts in the field. The student developers progress in their journey towards the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and become eligible for grants as part of the program. The boot camp can be a game-changer for students to learn emerging technologies and make their mark in the tech industry.
