Just shy of two years ago, a popular franchise popped up in Saginaw Township. Located at 4588 State Street in Green Acres Plaza, I Heart Mac & Cheese and More continues to bring the community excellent customer service, food, and a sparkly clean restaurant. The business is owned by two women, Letisha Randle and Laquanda Hoskins, who strive to make sure to welcome everyone and give an experience beyond the expected for a franchise.
I just really wanted to be the type of owner that was present. We genuinely care about their lives outside of I Heart, Randle said. We try to show them that we appreciate (the team). It’s up to them to give each customer a special experience along with keeping the restaurant clean.
With the help of their families and their strong I Heart team, they have maintained delivering their vision to the community, Randle said.
The newest items on the menu include their signature flatbreads featuring BBQ Chicken, Short Rib Philly, Chicken Parm, and more. They also have a variety of toppings to add into classic mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, vegan options, and desserts, including fresh-baked cookies.
I Heart Mac & Cheese and More is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Randle stated. They do have their own app, deliver with Doordash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, and offer catering.
We just really want to make sure everyone knows we’re here, Randle added. Everything is going good, and we’re excited about going into our two-year journey.
