Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is currently in talks with Indian telecom operators to deploy automation technologies that could help them to bring down their costs. The company has expressed its interest in the private 5G market and is looking to strengthen its R&D centre in India to support the development of 5G core and private 5G products. According to HPE, the telecoms industry will invest $650bn on 5G deployment over the next seven years, and private 5G will play a vital role in generating new revenue growth. HPE is keen to work with local telecom operators to tap various industry verticals and is open to providing its technology and managed service to enterprises that self-manage private 5G networks.
