A house in Chandgam Tahab area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir was damaged due to a landslide caused by incessant rains on Thursday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The Tehsildar of Pulwama confirmed the damage to the residential house and reported that teams have reached the location to evacuate the family to a safer place. Additionally, steps are being taken to ensure the safety of other people living in the close vicinity of the spot. The incident is a reminder of the need for proper construction and safety measures in landslide-prone areas during the monsoon season.
