Since its opening on 14 August 2023, the Hope Community Clinic Centre has achieved notable milestones. One standout success is the ‘Free Breast Cancer Screening and Awareness’ campaign, which provided screenings to 218 women at no cost, while also raising awareness about this life-threatening disease. Furthermore, the clinic collaborated with the Paulia Caring Foundation during an outreach event in Groot Aub, offering a range of services such as free medical check-ups, health education sessions, and vital procedures.

The Hope Community Clinic Centre is a private venture solely owned and financed by Shigwedha. She chose to rely on personal savings and soft loans from family and friends for the startup capital, opting not to accept loans, grants, or donations. This independent approach demonstrates Shigwedha’s commitment to providing accessible healthcare services without compromising her vision.
