Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced that the party’s state unit will follow the high command’s decision on whether or not to support the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on the issue of the Centre’s ordinance on control of services in Delhi. This comment follows Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa’s refusal to support the AAP on the same issue. When asked about the Punjab Congress’s stance on the matter, Bajwa, the Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly, stated that the Punjab Congress will not support the AAP. Both leaders’ remarks were made after meeting with the Congress party leadership in New Delhi.
