Honda Recalls 106K CR-V Hybrid SUVs for Battery Cable Issue, US

Honda is recalling thousands of Honda CR-V hybrid sport-utility vehicles from model years 2020 to 2022 due to an electrical issue that could potentially lead to fires. The recall, affecting approximately 106,000 vehicles, is related to a 12-volt battery cable that may be missing a fuse. In the event of a crash, this missing fuse could cause the cable to short-circuit or overheat, posing a safety risk.

As per a notice posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)’s website, Honda dealers have been instructed to replace the battery cable at no charge for affected vehicles.
