Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has ordered a high-level probe into a lathi charge on Bajrang Dal workers in Indore. The police conducted the charge after the workers staged a protest, blocking roads and pelting stones at the police. Mishra said an Additional Director General of Police (ADG) level officers will investigate the incident. The Bajrang Dal workers were protesting against criminal cases registered against members of their outfit in the past. Meanwhile, the home minister commented on the Karnataka government’s decision to repeal the Anti-Conversion law and criticized Congress for doing politics of appeasement and supporting Jihadis. Mishra also took a jibe at Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh, saying he should submit his report to the BJP State Chief instead of Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Kamal Nath.
