Several vehicles have been stranded on the Bhopal-Jabalpur highway due to heavy rains that washed away a temporary culvert on the service road. The incident happened at around 3 am on Tuesday, and as a result, long queues of vehicles could be seen on both sides of the culvert.
According to reports, the construction work of a temporary culvert was underway near Indra Nagar, bordering Narsinghpur district, when the culvert was washed away due to the heavy flow of rainwater. In view of the rush of vehicles, vehicles going from Jabalpur have been stopped at Shahpura toll nakka, and vehicles coming from the Bhopal side have been stopped at the highway toll nakka.
