Former Chief Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy has criticized the Congress party, accusing some members of making inappropriate statements against his own party. Kumaraswamy states that his promise to dissolve JD(S) party was based on the implementation of the Pancharatna promises in this election season, and not upon losing the assembly elections. Furthermore, he expressed his disappointment by some half-baked ministers making such inappropriate claims. The recently concluded assembly elections in Karnataka saw Congress winning 135 seats and BJP getting 66 seats, whereas JD(S) only managed to secure 19 seats. Kumaraswamy’s tweets refer to the issue of implementing his election promises, and he seems to be frustrated that he feels people may not be aware of the rule’s implementation process.
