Jacob LaGrone, the groom who recently gained social media fame for his extravagant wedding, is now facing serious legal trouble. LaGrone appeared in court on Thursday to face charges of aggravated assault on a public worker, a first-degree felony in the state of Texas. The charges stem from an incident in March where LaGrone allegedly opened fire at three police officers. If convicted, LaGrone could face a sentence of up to 15 years in prison. Despite the viral success of his wedding with Madelaine Brockway, which was dubbed the Wedding of the Century, LaGrone now faces the possibility of spending a significant portion of his life behind bars. We reached out to LaGrone’s attorney for comment but have not received a response at this time.
