Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi has reportedly disagreed with the Tamil Nadu Government’s decision for Minister V. Senthilbalaji to continue in the Council of Ministers. Governor Ravi believes that Senthilbalaji, who is facing criminal proceedings and is currently in judicial custody for moral turpitude, should not hold a position in the government.

Following the Governor’s refusal, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has recommended that Thangam Thennrasu be handed over the Electricity portfolio, while S. Muthusamy has been allocated the Excise and Prohibition portfolio.

It is unclear whether this decision will be accepted by everyone, as opinions are divided on Governor Ravi’s refusal to reallocate Senthilbalaji’s portfolios.

Nonetheless, Governor Ravi’s stance on the matter suggests that he is committed to upholding moral and ethical standards in the Tamil Nadu government. His decision may also set a precedent for other governors around the country to take similar action against officials who have been implicated in serious offenses.

Overall, this situation highlights the importance of maintaining high standards of governance and serving the interests of the people. Hopefully, the Tamil Nadu Government and Governor Ravi will come to an agreement that satisfies everyone involved.
