Google is reportedly working on an advanced version of its AI chatbot called Bard, which will be available via a paid subscription. The upgraded version, known as Bard Advanced, is said to be powered by Gemini Ultra, Google’s new large language model (LLM). Developer Dylan Roussel discovered the new version and announced that it will be available with a paid subscription on Google One. Although the feature is not yet finalized, it is expected to allow users to explore different topics and utilize the advanced math and reasoning skills of Bard Advanced.

In addition to Bard Advanced, developer Bedros Pamboukian has found evidence suggesting that Google is also working on an advanced tier for the chatbot. This indicates that Google is making significant efforts to enhance the capabilities of its AI chatbot and cater to more complex tasks.

Last month, Google made its LLM available to developers and enterprises, enabling them to build their own use cases for advanced tasks. The company introduced Google AI Studio, a free web-based developer tool that allows developers to quickly develop prompts and obtain an API key for their app development. Currently, developers have free access to Gemini Pro and Gemini Pro Vision through Google AI Studio, making it suitable for most app development needs. However, Google plans to launch Gemini Ultra, its largest and most capable model for highly complex tasks, early next year after further fine-tuning, safety testing, and gathering valuable feedback from partners. Google also aims to extend the availability of Gemini to more developer platforms like Chrome and Firebase.

The introduction of Bard Advanced and the upcoming launch of Gemini Ultra indicate Google’s commitment to advancing AI chatbot technology and providing developers and users with more robust capabilities. These developments align with Google’s ongoing efforts to enhance language processing models and expand their applications across various platforms. As Google continues to refine and expand these models, it is set to make significant contributions to the field of artificial intelligence.

Overall, these advancements in AI chatbot technology are poised to revolutionize the way users interact with digital assistants, opening up new possibilities for convenience, productivity, and innovation. With the release of Bard Advanced and the future launch of Gemini Ultra, Google is positioning itself as a leader in advancing the capabilities of AI-powered chatbots and furthering the boundaries of intelligent virtual assistants.
