While swiping through the calendar, some individuals have noticed that future dates are grayed out, limiting their ability to schedule messages beyond today. Interestingly, December 31, 2024, is available as an option despite the issue. Even manually entering a date using the keyboard yields an error message stating, Date not allowed. Although this problem has been reported by a few users and replicated on one device running the latest beta release, it does not affect all users. It’s worth noting that this scheduling limitation is exclusive to Google Messages and does not extend to other Android apps such as Gmail. Beta updates are expected to resume next week after the holiday break and will likely address this issue. Furthermore, it remains to be seen if the problem persists once we enter 2024. In the meantime, users experiencing difficulties can try utilizing the Tomorrow, 8:00 AM preset as a temporary workaround.
