Google has announced that its AI bot, Bard, has expanded its availability to include new languages, countries, and features. With this update, Bard is now accessible in over 40 languages, allowing the majority of people worldwide to utilize its capabilities. Google has added nine Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, and Urdu, to Bard’s repertoire.

In addition to India, other regions like Europe and Brazil are also included in this expansion. Alongside the language update, Google has introduced several new features to Bard. Users can now add photos to their questions, and Bard can provide spoken comments to aid with script readings, poem recitations, and pronunciation corrections. Furthermore, users have the option to receive longer or shorter responses from Bard, giving them more control over their interactions.

Although the customization feature is currently available only in English, Google plans to make it accessible in more languages soon. Additionally, conversations can now be pinned and renamed, making it easier to locate and revisit important discussions. The sidebar provides quick access to recent talks, and shareable links enable users to easily share conversations with others.

Google has seamlessly integrated the capabilities of Google Lens into Bard. By allowing users to post photos alongside prompts, Bard can analyze the visual content and offer relevant information or original ideas. While this picture analysis feature is currently available only in English (US), Google intends to support other languages in the near future.

To enhance user experience, Google has introduced a new functionality that enables the export of Python code to Replit, in addition to the existing integration with Google Colab. This feature supports nearly 40 programming languages.

With these updates, Google aims to provide users with a more versatile and personalized AI experience. By expanding Bard’s language availability and introducing new features, Google ensures that more individuals can benefit from this AI bot’s capabilities. As Bard continues to evolve, users can expect even more enhancements in the future.
