Good Day Atlanta: Join the Hills4ATL Fitness Family for a Free Workout at Piedmont Park
Every Wednesday evening, hundreds of fitness enthusiasts gather at Piedmont Park for an energizing workout session with Hills4ATL. Founded and organized by Alvin A.B. Bailey, this free weekly workout aims to create a fitness community in a safe and automobile-free environment.
Bailey, a professional DJ and Knoxville native, was inspired to start the workouts at Piedmont Park after experiencing a car accident while jogging in the city. Determined to provide a fitness option in a public park, Bailey launched Hills4ATL. Now in its third year, the program has an average attendance of 120 to 150 people, and Bailey’s goal is to continue expanding its offerings and reach even more participants.
The Wednesday workouts kick off at 6:30 p.m. at Oak Hill inside Piedmont Park. Interested individuals can register in advance by visiting the Hill4ATL Eventbrite page.
