Goa police have been given a target to book 40 cases of traffic violations per day by the state government, according to BJP MLA Michael Lobo. He emphasized that accidents can not be prevented by merely giving fines to traffic violators. Instead, there should be proper traffic signages and discipline on the roads. Lobo recommended that law enforcement authorities should identify accident-prone areas and take necessary measures to prevent accidents. He also called for stricter punishment for driving without a license and urged the government to improve road infrastructure by painting speed breakers and installing traffic signboards.

The article does not mention any specific company.

Michael Lobo is a BJP MLA in Goa who joined the party on September 14, 2022, along with seven other Congress MLAs. He has not been assigned any position within the government yet.
