Indian airline Go First has extended the suspension of its scheduled flights until June 9 due to the company’s ongoing financial troubles. The carrier, which recently filed for voluntary insolvency, stated that a comprehensive restructuring plan must be put in place before operations restart. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has also advised Go First to produce a sustainable revival plan within 30 days, which the regulator will review before appropriate action is taken. Affected travellers will be refunded the cost of their Go First flights.
