Georgia Governor Kemp Criticizes Trump, Defends Election Integrity
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has strongly criticized former President Donald Trump for continuously promoting baseless claims of election fraud. Trump now faces charges in Fulton County, Georgia as part of a fourth criminal investigation. Prosecutors have presented evidence of his alleged attempts to overturn Georgia’s election results, which ultimately contributed to Joe Biden’s victory as the 46th president of the United States.
The charges against Trump include racketeering, solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer, conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer, conspiracy to commit forgery, conspiracy to commit false statements and writings, conspiracy to commit filing false documents, filing false documents, and false statements and writings.
