Sakshi Chopra, the great-granddaughter of Bollywood director Ramanand Sagar, has accused a game show of sexual harassment during her participation. Chopra is known for her bold and revealing outfits on social media and has taken to Instagram to detail the incidents of sexual harassment. According to Chopra, after signing a contract, a contestant openly spoke of her breasts and butt, saying it was fine for people to record and play all the ill things they said. Chopra alleged that Netflix gave her a horribly suffocating experience as they locked her in and did not let her make contact with her mother. Chopra also stated that Solproductions and Netflix knew everything and scripted chats and blurred messages with sexual harassment details to portray whatever they wanted.
The alleged incidents took place on a game show, and Chopra claims she suffered sexual harassment and was given zero privacy as they constantly monitored her. They further did not let her speak of her sexual harassment, stopping all contact. Chopra said this was a real lesson for me – I accept my fault for signing up with such dirty producers, and that the experience showed what these low-class producers were capable of doing for dirty entertainment.
Chopra is not the first to come forward with allegations of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry, and her post has sparked outrage on social media. Her followers have expressed their support and called for action against the production company. It is a reminder that the entertainment industry still has a long way to go in terms of ensuring safety and respect for all those who work within it.
The accusations against the production company highlight a need for greater accountability in the industry and for measures to be taken to prevent similar incidents from happening again in the future. Chopra’s allegations serve as a reminder of the importance of speaking out against any form of harassment or misconduct in the workplace. It is hoped that her bravery will encourage others to do the same.
