Free Pet Clinic for the Homeless: Oregon Humane Society Provides Vital Care and Supplies

Dr. Robert Mack, a retired veterinarian with over 30 years of experience, and a dedicated member of the OHS board, spearheaded this initiative. His passion for helping animals and giving back to the community has led him to volunteer his time at Blanchet House every second Tuesday of the month, providing pet advice to homeless individuals and their pets.

As Mahmood brought Vanilla to the clinic, he expressed the deep bond he shares with his furry companion, describing her as his beloved girl. He praised the clinic as very awesome and expressed his appreciation for the compassionate people involved.
Blanchet House plans to organize another vaccine clinic in the upcoming spring season, taking advantage of better weather conditions.
