Super Bowl champion and writer/producer for HBO’s Ballers Rashard Mendenhall has put up his Los Angeles compound for $4.236 million. Fans of the running back may find that number familiar — the listing price is a wink to Mendenhall’s 4,236 NFL career rushing yards. Mendenhall purchased the estate in Northridge’s Sherwood Forest neighborhood in 2017, two years after the premiere of Ballers. At that time, the property’s only connection to Hollywood was from another famous previous owner, the late comedian and actor Richard Pryor, who owned the home for nearly 15 years. Surrounded by a citrus grove — a remnant of the property’s history as a citrus plantation — a long hidden driveway halts at the gates of the walled estate.
