The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has attached 52 movable and immovable properties of Parveen Yadav and his family members worth Rs. 45.20 crores under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Yadav, a former Deputy Commandant in National Security Guard (NSG), is accused of cheating complainants and laundering money through bank accounts, trading accounts, and investing in movable and immovable properties.

According to ED’s investigation, Yadav opened a forged bank account with Axis Bank in the name of EMD for Central Warehouse NSG, Manesar, and gave forged documents to the complainants for upcoming tenders. Through various accounts maintained by Yadav, he received money fraudulently and cheated the complainants. The accused diverted the funds to purchase land, luxurious cars, and pay for movable and immovable properties.

ED initiated the investigation based on five FIRs registered by Gurugram Police against Yadav, Dinesh Mohan Sorkhi, Kamal Singh, Mamta Yadav, Koshia Enterprises Pvt Ltd, Rituraj Yadav, Naveen Khatodia, Axis Bank, and unknown persons for alleged commission of scheduled offences under various sections of IPC, 1860.

The attachment process is provisional, and further investigations are underway. The ED has urged the public to report any suspicious or fraudulent activities and appealed to them to cooperate with the authorities to detect and prevent money laundering. The ED’s crackdown on money laundering highlights the growing need for strict measures to prevent financial fraud and protect the interests of society and its citizens.

As the investigation continues, the accused’s fate remains uncertain. The ED’s efforts to expose and prosecute money launderers will deter future fraudsters and ensure a more transparent and accountable financial system. The fight against money laundering is ongoing, and collaborative efforts are essential to ensure a corruption-free economy that benefits everyone.
