Former Michigan football running back Mister Simpson has passed away, according to reports on Twitter. The Cincinnati native was part of the Wolverines team from 2005 to 2006 before transferring back home. Simpson was rated a three-star running back at the time of his commitment and redshirted in his first year in Ann Arbor. In 2006, he managed two carries for 11 yards and two tackles. Simpson also got into legal trouble after transferring to Cincinnati and never saw meaningful action again. The cause of his death is currently unknown, and he was 36 at the time of his death.
