Foreigners arrested with 30 kg of drugs worth Rs 160 crore

On May 31, police in Greater Noida revealed that they had arrested three foreign nationals for the possession of 30 kg of methamphetamine, worth between Rs 150-160 crore internationally. The arrested individuals were identified as Simone, Kesiana, and E Solomon, all of whom hail from Nigeria. Police also seized two cars, four passports, and nine mobile phones. The methamphetamine was reportedly discovered in a lab set up by the foreigners in Mitra Enclave Colony, Beta-2, where they allegedly manufactured the drugs. Police had earlier received information from Chidi, one of nine foreign nationals arrested on May 17 in connection with drug offenses in the region. After interrogating Chidi, authorities were led to the drug lab in Greater Noida. The group had reportedly set up two labs, exporting the drugs hidden in bundles of clothes through Mumbai port, Delhi-NCR, and the northeastern region of the country.
