Following heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding at the St. Croix Central High School campus, students were dismissed early on Monday. The Virgin Islands Department of Education has announced that Central High School will operate virtually on Tuesday. Students will engage with their teachers through Teams meetings during regular class hours, with assignments distributed via Teams and Schoology platforms. The campus will undergo assessment and cleaning to resume in-person learning on Wednesday, while all other schools in the St. Croix District will maintain their usual schedules.
