Five academy resource persons (ARPs) from the basic education department have been removed from their positions due to poor performance, according to Raj Singh Yadav, the principal of the District Institute of Education and Training in Noida. Yadav stated that the pandemic had prevented the usual annual performance analysis of the ARPs, resulting in the same individuals being appointed for three years. Following complaints from schools regarding lackadaisical supervision, the performance of the ARPs was assessed by the block education officer, DIET mentor, and the state resource group, and found to be unsatisfactory. In response, Yadav stated that the positions will be advertised in July, with recruitment of ARPs in math, English, science, social science, and Hindi. Each ARP is responsible for supervising 30 council schools each month, evaluating teacher and student performance. This move comes amid an effort to improve the quality of education in India.
