Fatal Hit-and-Run in Rajasthan Village: 2 Killed, 1 Critical After Bike Collision
Late on Monday night, a tragic hit-and-run incident took place in Ranasar village, located in Rajasthan’s Kuchaman district. Two individuals lost their lives, while another person sustained critical injuries when a four-wheeler collided with their bike. According to the police, Raju Ram, Chunni Lal, and Kishna Ram were returning from a fair when the unfortunate accident occurred.
Tragically, Raju Ram and Chunni Lal lost their lives instantly, while Kishna Ram was rushed to a hospital in Jaipur and is currently undergoing treatment. The grieving family members are demanding justice and have alleged that the incident was a deliberate act of murder. They have staged a sit-in outside the hospital, calling for a thorough investigation into the matter, as well as compensation and a government job for the victims’ family.
Responding to the family’s complaints, a case of murder has been registered at the Kuchaman Police Station. The police assured that they are investigating the incident from all possible angles and have formed special teams to apprehend the responsible party. In a statement, Kuchaman ASP Praveen Nayak said, Justice will be done to the victims’ family members once the investigation is over. Talks are being held with the family over compensation. Kuchaman SHO Suresh Kumar added that a case of murder has been registered based on the family’s complaint and that the investigation is ongoing.
According to the relatives of the victims, the three men had stopped at a hotel to have dinner. It was at this point that they reportedly got into an argument with a group of individuals who pursued them and eventually rammed their car into the victims’ bike. The police have yet to conduct post-mortem examinations on the bodies. As the investigation continues, an attempt is being made to present a balanced view by considering different perspectives.
