Three Family Members Fatally Shot in Land Dispute, Houses Set Ablaze in Uttar Pradesh
In a tragic incident that unfolded in Mohiuddinpur village of Uttar Pradesh, three members of a family were shot dead in the late hours of Thursday night. The victims have been identified as Horilal, aged 62, his daughter Brijkali, aged 22, and her husband Shivsagar, aged 26. The shocking incident occurred while the family was peacefully asleep outside their modest hut.
The motive behind this ruthless act appears to be a longstanding land dispute between Horilal and a neighbor. According to relatives of the victims, Horilal had claimed ownership of a piece of land situated at Panda Crossing in the village, but others also laid claim to the same property. Following the triple murder, anger and outrage surged among the bereaved family members, who, joined by outraged villagers, decided to take matters into their own hands. Meanwhile, multiple teams have been formed by the district police chief to apprehend the four suspects whose names have emerged during the questioning of villagers.
The bodies of the victims have been sent for autopsy, as the police continue their relentless efforts to ensure justice is served.
