Tola, who achieved a remarkable time of 2:03:39 in Amsterdam two years ago, has his sights set on breaking the men’s marathon world record.
While Tola acknowledges that this year might not be his record-breaking moment, he intends to aim for the world record next year, potentially in Berlin if he is not selected for the Olympics.
