Exoprimal, the highly anticipated game from Aibius Corporation, is set to launch this Friday, bringing with it a host of exciting new updates and features. The game takes place in a near-future world where vortexes can open at any time, unleashing hordes of dinosaurs. Thankfully, humanity has been able to fight back using the power of Exosuits, powered armor that can withstand these blasts from the past.
The main mode of Exoprimal, called Dino Survival, offers an intense, never-ending war game experience. Players are pitted against each other in teams of five, led by the next-generation artificial intelligence known as Leviathan. The objective is to complete missions and survive against both dinosaurs and rival Exofighters. The game’s launch will introduce a new feature called Final Mission Selection, which allows players to choose between PvP, PvE, or Random matchmaking options. PvP involves direct competition between squads, while PvE focuses on completing missions against the AI. The Random option provides a mix of both PvP and PvE matches, offering a dynamic and varied experience.
In addition to the launch content, Exoprimal has exciting updates planned for the future. Season 1, starting on July 14, will introduce a new game mode called Savage Gauntlet. This purely PvE mode will offer challenging late-game missions on a weekly rotation, testing the skills of experienced players. It requires careful customization of Exosuits with enhancements called modules, which provide active and passive abilities and stat boosts. Season 2, set for mid-October, will bring a collaboration with Street Fighter 6, along with new maps, Final Missions, and additional weapons and abilities. Season 3, in January 2024, promises even more content, including additional Beta variants for Exosuits and a collaboration with the Monster Hunter series.
