Based on the life and journey of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, one of the co-founders and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Main Atal Hoon will star Pankaj Tripathi in the titular role. Directed by Ravi Jadhav of Taali fame, the movie will star Piyush Mishra, Raja Rameshkumar Sevak, and Daya Shankar Pandey in pivotal roles.
Directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut, Emergency, the movie based on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi which also stars Bhumika Chawla, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik, and Shreyas Talpade among others, apart from the Queen actress playing the lead role is one of the highly anticipated biopics of 2024.
Agastya Nanda, who made his acting debut in the Netflix film The Archies, will next be seen in Ekkis, an upcoming Bollywood biopic based on the life of Param Vir Chakra winner and second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was martyred in the Battle of Basantar in the Battlefield of Shakargarh on the final day of the Indo-Pakistan 1971 War. Earlier, Varun Dhawan was supposed to star in the biopic. However, he reportedly backed out of the project, which will be directed by Merry Christmas director Sriram Raghavan.
The football drama starring Ajay Devgn is based on the life and journey of Syed Abdul Rahim, a reputed football coach who revolutionized the sport in India.
The historical biopic will narrate the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna will star in the film, which will be directed by Laxman Utekar, who had also helmed Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.

A film about Dr. Ramgopal Naik, an IPS officer known for his remarkable career in the Delhi Crime Branch, is currently in the works. The movie will showcase his pivotal role in capturing criminals, receiving a gallantry award for rescuing a kidnapped child, and his involvement in high-profile cases such as the CBSE Paper leak and extradition of Sanjeev Chawla, a cricket bookie who was a fugitive for two decades, to India from the United Kingdom. Imran Zahid, known for his role in Mahesh Bhatt’s films like Arth, Daddy, and Hamari Adhuri Kahani, is set to portray IPS Dr. Ram Gopal Naik.
A biopic on Vinayak Damodar Savarkar is in the works, and Randeep Hooda is all set to play the lead role.
