European Venture Capital and Web3 Companies join forces to found Tectris
In an exciting development for the travel and hospitality sectors, ennea capital partners, Falkensteiner Ventures, Trips Community, Chain4Travel, and other key players have come together to launch Tectris. The program aims to nurture startups that are developing cutting-edge technologies in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and AI to transform the travel industry. As we move from the ‘read’ phase of Web1 and the ‘write’ phase of Web2, Tectris will lead the change into the decentralized ‘own’ phase of Web3, highlighting advancements like tokenization, decentralized ownership, and automated trust protocols.
From June to November 2024, Tectris will select 10 of the most promising Web3 travel startups, offering them a robust foundation to build upon. The program invests in open protocols, as they represent the foundation on which the whole Web3 in travel industry will live, as well as in non-protocol, for-profit startups that present successful use cases of Web3 in travel.

Through our Discord channel, Tectris transforms into an open-space incubator dedicated to nurturing Web3 travel innovations.
Participants of the program can look forward to not just funding opportunities up to €250.000 value, but also immersive coaching, invaluable industry expertise, and unmatched partnership opportunities with established names in travel and hospitality. The program invites applications from teams and solo founders from the concept or pre-seed stage in Web3 and blockchain and the travel, hospitality, and leisure verticals. It’s a remote program with a registration deadline of July 31st, 2024. Semi-finals will take place in scenic Umbria, Italy, during the Web3 in Travel Conference on September 3rd and 4th, 2024, with the finals’ dates in Q4/24 in Vienna, Austria.
