Engel & Völkers, a renowned global luxury real estate brand, has recently expanded its presence in Miami-Dade County with the opening of two new shops. The franchise expansion comes as a result of local market expert Daniel Nault acquiring the franchises and converting his previously unaffiliated brokerage, Edgewater One Real Estate, to Engel & Völkers Miami. Nault has retrofitted his existing office located at The Grand Retail Center inside The DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay to reflect the iconic style of Engel & Völkers shops.

Nault, along with his Broker Associate Vanessa Gomez, brings over three decades of combined industry experience to their latest business venture. In addition to owning Edgewater One Real Estate, Nault has worked as Executive Vice President of Sales & Leasing for Heafey Group, one of Canada’s largest real estate investment and development firms. Gomez, on the other hand, will continue to lead and expand the team from Edgewater One Real Estate that has joined them at Engel & Völkers Miami, taking on the role of Director of Luxury Sales and New Developments.

The decision to join Engel & Völkers was driven by the desire to tap into the brand’s global reach and cater to clients with diverse and international backgrounds. Nault believes that Miami, particularly Miami Beach, is the perfect location to further develop a luxury brand like Engel & Völkers. The city is globally recognized as a vibrant and cosmopolitan destination, attracting investors and second homebuyers from around the world.

With its extensive presence and recognition worldwide, Engel & Völkers provides Nault and his team the opportunity to attract international buyers seeking investment opportunities in the thriving Miami real estate market. Key feeder markets such as New York, Chicago, New Jersey, Canada, France, and Colombia are expected to be targeted.

Gomez highlighted the challenges faced by their previous brokerage in terms of recognition and access to additional tools and support when competing with larger brands. By joining Engel & Völkers, they gain access to a broader network and support system that will help them overcome these obstacles and provide enhanced services to their clients.

The Miami real estate market continues to experience growth and presents lucrative opportunities. Miami’s global appeal, strong economy, and desirable climate attract both domestic and international buyers seeking luxury properties. Established neighborhoods like Miami Beach and Brickell are in high demand, while emerging areas like Downtown and Edgewater offer new investment prospects. The expansion of Engel & Völkers in Miami ensures that clients receive expert guidance when navigating this thriving real estate market.

Engel & Völkers is a global luxury real estate brand that originated in Hamburg, Germany, in 1977. With approximately 300 shop locations and over 6,500 real estate advisors in the Americas, the brand’s global network spans over 30 countries. Engel & Völkers offers private and institutional clients a range of luxury services, including real estate and yachting.

As Engel & Völkers expands its reach in Florida, the partnership with Daniel Nault and Engel & Völkers Miami is expected to strengthen the brand’s presence in the Miami-Dade County market. The conversion of Edgewater One Real Estate to Engel & Völkers Miami marks an exciting development for both companies as they aim to provide exceptional service and expertise to clients in one of the world’s most sought-after real estate markets.

In conclusion, Engel & Völkers has expanded into Miami-Dade County with the opening of two new shops. Daniel Nault has acquired the franchises and converted his previously unaffiliated brokerage, Edgewater One Real Estate, to Engel & Völkers Miami. This expansion allows Engel & Völkers to tap into the thriving Miami real estate market and cater to international buyers seeking investment opportunities in the city. With its global recognition and extensive network, Engel & Völkers aims to provide expert guidance and exceptional service to clients in the region.
