The defense and security cooperation between India and France have been growing significantly, particularly following India’s procurement of 36 Rafale jets from French aerospace major Dassault Aviation. Additionally, French defense major Safran is set to collaborate with Indian state-run defense manufacturers to develop engines for military aircraft.
PM Modi’s visit will also include a private dinner with President Macron, where they will discuss various matters of mutual interest. Moreover, PM Modi will meet Indian artists who participated in the Namaste France festival, which aims to strengthen cultural ties between India and France.
