Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has criticized the ongoing opposition meeting in Patna, stating that all dynast parties are forging alliances to save their families. He mocked the former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray for sitting next to PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, who previously criticized the BJP for having an alliance with the PDP in Kashmir. Fadnavis claims that the people of India have come to recognize the work that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done in the last nine years, and that he will win a complete majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah believes that Prime Minister Modi will form a new government in 2024 by securing more than 300 seats. Shah addressed a public meeting in Jammu and reiterated that the opposition parties will not be able to unite. The meeting of opposition leaders hosted by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar aimed to create a united opposition front to take on the BJP in 2024. More than 15 opposition parties attended the meeting held at Nitish Kumar’s official residence in Patna.
Overall, the opposition parties have come to understand that the kind of work Prime Minister Modi has done in the last nine years is winning the support of the whole nation. However, they are attempting to challenge the BJP and offer power to their respective dynast families by uniting.
