Dubai Airport’s Special Services for Hajj Pilgrims in UAE

Dubai International Airport is working with its service partners to ensure a seamless experience for pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage. As part of the preparations, dedicated counters have been allocated for check-in, passport control, and security while special departure gates have been arranged for Hajj flights. A Hajj Committee consisting of Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai Customs, Dubai Health Authority, dnata, Emirates, flydubai, Saudi Airlines, and flynas has also been set up to improve operational efficiency during the season. Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Head of Hajj Committee at Dubai airport, advised travellers to arrive at the airport four hours before their scheduled flight departure and to ensure the validity of all their travel documents prior to arriving. While Dubai Airports is working closely with authorities and partners to ensure a seamless travel experience, passengers are advised to follow a few simple tips to smoothen their journey. These tips include being aware of travel regulations, weighing luggage at home, checking documents in advance, and being prepared for security checks.
