DU Forms 6 Committees to Address Student Grievances in India

The Delhi University has recently set up six committees to address students’ grievances regarding admissions, exams and other related concerns. According to a notification by the university, the committees will be led by various academic heads, including Dean of Student Welfare Pankaj Arora, Dean of Admissions Haneet Gandhi, OSD Examination Ajay Arora, Professor Manoj Singh, and Bipin Tiwari, the OSD of the Equal Opportunity Cell. The SGRC of the university will oversee the functioning of all the committees and monitor the grievances of respective colleges too. Moreover, a special committee for PwBD students has been established to address their concerns within the university. The move aims to establish an effective and efficient process for redressal of student grievances in compliance with the provisions of UGC regulations.
