The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Jammu and Kashmir is using state-of-the-art drones to conduct 24/7 surveillance of the Amarnath Yatra, a popular annual Hindu pilgrimage. The drones are equipped with high-resolution cameras and Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Jammers to ensure the safety and security of the thousands of pilgrims who travel along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and its adjacent link roads.

The Udhampur-based 137th Battalion of the CRPF has been tasked with ensuring the safe and orderly progress of the Amarnath Yatra, and has implemented a hi-tech system to achieve this objective. The cutting-edge drones are being used to meticulously monitor the National Highway and its accompanying routes, providing an unflinching 24-hour watch over the region.

The CRPF is committed to equipping its vehicles stationed on the National Highway with cutting-edge equipment to provide incident-free and flawless conduct during the forthcoming Holy Amarnath Yatra in 2023.

With the 62nd Yatra set to begin on 1 July, the CRPF is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the pilgrimage is conducted without any compromise on safety or security. The dedicated team at the Udhampur-based 137th Battalion is fully prepared to tackle any untoward incidents and ensure the safety of all pilgrims. The CRPF has demonstrated its unyielding commitment to protecting the pilgrims by implementing advanced surveillance systems and technologies along the pilgrimage route.

The use of cutting-edge surveillance equipment underscores how seriously the Indian authorities are taking the security of the Amarnath Yatra. The pilgrimage is a significant event in the Hindu calendar and attracts participants from across the country. By using advanced technologies, the authorities are sending a clear message that no stone will be left unturned when it comes to securing the event and ensuring public safety.

In conclusion, the use of drones with high-resolution cameras and RCIED Jammers along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway highlights the CRPF’s commitment to ensure the Amarnath Yatra is conducted safely and without any incidents. By deploying innovative technologies and cutting-edge equipment, the CRPF is leaving no space for compromise in safety and security.
