Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya Investment Company has announced the upcoming opening of a Dragon Ball Theme Park in the country’s Qiddiya Tourism Project. This innovative addition to the megaproject aims to attract visitors with its unique theme centered around the popular Dragon Ball franchise. Among the 12 planned amusement parks, this will be the first dedicated solely to the iconic series.
The Dragon Ball Theme Park is set to feature 30 attractions, showcasing recognizable landmarks from the various sagas of the franchise. From Kame House Island to Capsule Corporation and Beerus’ Planet, visitors will be immersed in the world of Dragon Ball like never before. The park will house 5 main attractions, including the adrenaline-inducing Shenron rollercoaster, providing thrills for fans of all ages.
Scheduled to span an impressive 1,640,400 square feet, the park will be a sprawling playground for enthusiasts of the series. Upon its opening, visitors can expect to explore seven themed zones based on the seven dragon balls, offering a diverse range of experiences. In addition to the rides and attractions, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in food inspired by the Dragon Ball universe and stay in themed hotels for a fully immersive experience.
The Qiddiya Investment Company expressed excitement about bringing the adventures of Dragon Ball to life within the park, immersing fans in the journey from the original series to the latest Dragon Ball Super. While an exact opening date has yet to be disclosed, anticipation is already building for this groundbreaking addition to the entertainment landscape in Saudi Arabia.
