It is essential to provide the best services to the people, especially in remote and far-flung areas. The government’s strict commitment to this is commendable. Dr Singh’s initiative to work closely with the people and educate them about the welfare schemes is a promising step towards efficient implementation. The district officials should take full responsibility for this initiative and collaborate with other officers to ensure that the welfare schemes reach the last person in the queue.
