DJ Envy’s Office Not Raided in Real Estate Fraud Allegations

Contrary to rumors circulating in the media, DJ Envy’s office at iHeart Radio has not been raided as part of the ongoing real estate fraud allegations against him. Envy’s lawyer, Massimo D’Angelo, confirmed on Friday that the reports of a raid and seizure of equipment are merely sensationalized by the media’s coverage of the case.

Law enforcement sources and a source at iHeartMedia also confirmed that there was no raid on Envy’s office. However, the New Jersey Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI did visit the office to inform Envy about the arrest of his business partner, Cesar Pina.

Earlier this week, NBC investigative reporter Sarah Wallace incorrectly reported that the iHeartRadio office had been raided by federal officials. It was clarified that electronic equipment from the company’s Midtown Manhattan building, where The Breakfast Club operates, was indeed taken as part of the investigation.

Meanwhile, Cesar Humberto Pina, a New Jersey property investor, was arrested on charges related to a wire-fraud scheme. Pina is accused of using social media to deceive his followers, promising high investment returns and allegedly defrauding multiple people out of millions of dollars.

Pina and DJ Envy have been under investigation for organizing seminars across the country, where they enticed investors and allegedly defrauded them. The case documents and legal statements suggest that Pina utilized his reach on social media to attract victims and mislead them into investing.

In the face of the fraud allegations and resulting lawsuits, DJ Envy has addressed the accusations on The Breakfast Club. He clarified that the seminars were aimed at educating the community about real estate and bringing industry professionals to share their expertise. Envy claimed that he was unaware if Pina had taken money from investors and emphasized that he would never involve himself in such activities.

It is important to note that the investigation is ongoing, and the allegations against DJ Envy and Cesar Pina have not been proven in court. As the case progresses, further details and evidence will likely emerge.
